• What is ACS / PMC?
  Art Clay Silver / Precious Metal Clay is a material developed in the early 1990`s consisting of micro particles of pure silver or gold suspended into clay. The clay acts as a binder, is soft to the touch and can be worked, shaped or sculpted. When dry, the clay is fired in a high temperature kiln. During the firing process the micro particles of metal fuse whilst the clay or binder vaporizes, leaving an object that is made of pure silver (999) or pure gold (999/24k) and which can be accordingly hallmarked.
